Freeflex® Glucose 5% Solution

This product is supplied as a pack of 20 x 500ml bags. Glucose 5% Solution is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution of glucose monohydrate equivalent to 5% anhydrous glucose, designed for intravenous administration. This isotonic solution is indicated for the treatment of simple dehydration, carbohydrate depletion, and hypoglycaemic coma.

It may also provide temporary volume expansion in haemorrhage and shock, and serves as a diluent and delivery system for compatible drug additives in smaller volumes. This product is available in Freeflex® containers, and is formulated for hospital and clinical use under professional supervision.

Indications:

• Simple dehydration.
